Trauma-Informed Nervous System Nourishment
Nervous system nourishment is the intentional somatic movement practice of supporting the brain and body so they can recover from stress, regulate emotions, and maintain a state of safety and balance.
Think of it as “non-yogi” mindfulness yoga—accessible, choice-based, and designed to meet you where you are.
Everything I offer is an invitation, not an expectation—you always have permission to do what is right for you at all times. This includes:
✔️ You can join sessions virtually with your video off.
✔️ You can come late, leave early, or just listen—we just ask that you're mindful of noise pollution.
✔️ You can log in, mute, and simply lie on your mat and cry the whole session while being energetically held by the group (don’t underestimate this!!).
✔️ You can access the free membership video of the session later in the day when you have the capacity to do so.
✔️ You can participate seated in a chair if that’s what feels best for you, or on our sensory mats in The Nest.
✔️ You will be free from others’ trauma dumping, so you can have your own sparkly reset.
This is your space, your body, your way—gentle, grounding, and always optional. 💖✨
Nervous system nourishment includes:

Sensory Nourishment
– Recognising how sensory input affects well-being and creating environments that feel safe and supportive.

Physical Nourishment
– Ensuring the body has what it needs, including nutrition, hydration, movement, rest, and breathwork.

Emotional Nourishment
– Cultivating self-compassion, emotional literacy, and the ability to process feelings without overwhelm.

Environmental Nourishment
– Creating safe spaces, healthy boundaries, and relationships that support healing and growth.

Cognitive Nourishment
– Allowing for deep thinking, curiosity, and reflection in a way that supports clarity and personal insight.

Connection & Relational Nourishment
– Building relationships that foster trust, mutual respect, and a sense of belonging.
We believe that nervous system nourishment is the foundation of authenticity architecture—the process of creating a life that is aligned with your true self. Every person carries a unique nervous system shaped by their life experiences, stress responses, and personal history. For those who have faced adversity, trauma, or environments that didn’t honour their needs, nervous system nourishment is not just beneficial—it is essential for healing, growth, and thriving.
Rather than focusing on "fixing" or "coping," nervous system nourishment is about supporting and restoring the nervous system so it can function optimally. It allows individuals to move beyond survival mode and into a state of connection, empowerment, and authenticity.

Silent Pillars of Strength

These individuals are the heartbeat of our communities, yet they are often left depleted, unsupported, and unseen. But they, too, deserve rest. They, too, deserve nourishment.
